Art represents the life experiences of the maker of the art. If the viewer is drawn to it, there is that moment of recognition or connection. The artist then becomes a part of the viewer’s experience. This is the real value of art. It’s personal.
Though I am retired I still do art. It is therapeutic and rewarding. I have traveled to, or lived in, many different countries. I may yet travel to Greece, my father’s homeland. Or Wales, my mother’s homeland.
